Hey JD hope you are feeling better. Beautiful truck great features but the price tag is going to be insane. Still loving my 2000 7.3 Powerstroke with no payments, DEF, or filters.
Lighting is very important on a work truck, whether it is a hot shot, farm/ ranch, or construction work vehicle. Why does Ford make you add a "add on after market" light bar. This should be a option when you order your new $100K truck. A designed in front and rear spreader bar as well as side Lighting, not necessarily at the top of the roof. Perhaps at hood / tailgate or below side window heights. Thanks 😊 for the video, blessings.
Thanks for covering this launch JD, considering your recent health stuff. 👍 All that technology sounds like the chip shortage is over, but with 50,000+ trucks waiting for chips we all know it’s not!
I like it! Particularly the upfitter integration into the head unit, that’s pretty cool. Lots of great features and it looks really nice, too. If I need a huge truck to haul a fifth wheel, I’d absolutely consider this. 👍🏻. I will admit however that I’m no expert on Super Duty trucks and have never owned anything bigger than an F-150.
@Andrew George its an engine driven accessory drive. its an available option. thats what they put on cab and chassis that run booms, dump bodies, and whatever else you can think of. its like the output shaft on the rear of a tractor, unlimited uses and attachments.
I am truly excited to see this. I'm not old enough to own a truck like this, but I am a HUGE Super Duty lover. It looks extraordinary. The amount of time Ford put into this was so worth it. Thank you Ford.
Beautiful truck! I'm on the list to get one ordered in October. The only thing I really hate about the truck are the bedside steps. They're gonna be a pain to keep clean.
For how excited you sounded JD, I was worried your heart was going to be racing 😮. Hope you’re feeling better! I love the new design of the super duty, I also love the technology. Very curious about the new engine specs. Thanks for your videos!
I've been waiting for this one and I like it a lot so far. Does it have a blue cruise like the 2022 F150? The only thing I was really hoping for was more pro power on board. I had visions of a 50 amp power source and adding a nice external diesel tank to run either my next 5th wheel camper or house after a hurricane.
I really like how they thought of back passenger seating for a more comfortable ride and the new innovative technologies also the color is really nice .
At first I didn't like the new fornt end, but it's slowly growing on me. Now I can't decide between the king ranch and the limited as their both very very very awesome trucks.
Absolutely gorgeous! I see an upgrade in your future!! I still don’t understand why ford continues to use the oddball 19.5 wheel. Why not just make them 20” wheels? That will open a huge array of tire options!
I really like the new stuff. I think it a gorgeous truck. I bet starting price for the king ranch like this is $90k but all the option will go well over $110k.
That looks really nice. I do wish they would have gone with 245’s with the wider rims with the option of 265’s. But they have really stepped up the luxury of the truck! Great review! Thank you! I hope you keep feeling better.
A lot of great features all over. Love the 6.7 and my 2011 super duty. The one thing I would not like is that weigh scale indicator in the rear lights. DOT will be all over that.
since 2017 the superdutys have shared almost all interior componets as the F150 the cabs are identical in space, the superdutys get a few more creature comforts and a couple more cubby holes to still remind you you're in a superduty, but theres no reason that the F150s couldn't have those things as well. but then agian the price diffrence between a Spec'ed out Crew cab F150 is leagues below a Spec'ed out Superduty, just the diesel option alone is about 20,000 now. the new F150 most expensive configuration is only 72,000 and the new superdutys juding by past MSRP, fully spec'ed out its probably gonna be anywhere from 120-140,000 dollars. long gone are the days of its a truck does truck things, since its a superduty its larger than a 1/2 ton, it has less ammenities, but people are buying these work trucks as toys, or as grocery getters. its like using a hammer on everything, so now all the truck prices have skyrocketd the last 20 years. i have a 2005 Harley davidson edition, highest trim level with the diesel, most expensive options avaliable at the time window sticker was 65,000 i have a 2018 F250 platinum window sticker when it was new was 112,000 would i say the new trucks more than double the price of the old one hell no. maybe 10-20 grand more but over 100k no.
Hey JD: Hope your feeling better. The only thing missing is a camera for the gooseneck hitch. If you have a tool box or tri fold cover installed you cant see the hitch ball from the cab. Seems like a big over sight on fords part.
Love the bedside and rear step options hope that is included on lower trim models. I wish they had a basic and higher level LED headlamp and just get rid of the incandescent headlights altogether.
@OddTimes with what even a basic truck costs now, there no excuse for Ford or anybody else to offer anything but LED lighting. Wouldn’t mind if different trim levels get different lighting but every truck should have LED lighting as standard equipment. I love Ford trucks but that’s one area where they drop the ball
I just read on a news outlet that LED’s are options for all trim levels now. Hope it’s the case. Saw a showcase too. The stx model (which is basically an xl) had the LED headlamps.
loving a-lot of the features, confused on some. Over all, in 2017 I mostly was against the new body-style, now I love it with the wider front wheel base. Don't like the automated trailer stuff, but I'm curious what the "High Output 6.7" can do VS my tunes. Thanks for the quality video brother.
Hope your feeling better. It always fun when they do these debuts to see what is new. Lots of helpful new features. There are some small things that I wonder about. The propower onboard from what I gather is limited to 2.0kw making it a minor addon. If you tow an RV the 7.2kw unit is what you want and would probably be the re,ason that you would choose it over a competitor, yet it's not here. Alas it can't be a hybrid when its a diesel is the reason for it absence. Too bad but understandable. That hole in the topside of the box has been around since a stepside bed it was called a stakeholder.
What are the reason/s a diesel couldn’t be a hybrid? If not a full on hybrid, what about a dedicated alternator and small onboard diesel gen just to recharge the battery pack? Or something… I’m no engineer but I wouldn’t go to a super duty now that I’ve lived with my f150 with the onboard 7.2 kw power pack.
I wish you would have went into more detail with the scale system. I would have liked to see how that works. Other than that I think you did a pretty good job explaining everything. Hopefully he will get a chance to take one out and stretch its legs and see what it has. Of course I gave you a big old thumbs up and I've already been a subscriber for a long time so that button is already clicked. Look forward for watching more videos
A lot of what is on the 23 is a carry over from the current F-150, so other than the HUD and trailer camera system, you can see videos on the options from the F-150. The trailer hookup assist is a brand new feature too, pick out the ball on the trailer on the display and the truck will automatically line it up, all you do is shift when it tells you, truck handles gas and brake. Only works for conventional, but if you can't connect a 5th wheel with the bed camera, maybe towing is not for you! LOL
Really like the color of the leather. Hopefully they improved cooling for the engine and transmission so they don’t run so dang hot. Our 2019 ran way to hot. Great looking truck.
Well that was interesting especially since I put an order in for a F450 Platinum last month, but most likely it'll morph into a 2023. Interested to see what that new high output 6.7 L diesel will be like, but I tend to go with tried and true until the kinks are worked out of new major components like an engine. I wonder if Ford has solved their logistical problems or at least see a light at the end of the tunnel. Thus, I'm curious if you know if they will once again put the massage seats back into the higher trim levels? My order last month specifically excluded them and Ford gives a ridiculously low discount. Overall I like most of the new features, but I hope that it won't jack up the price too much as we both know all the little gadgets are what increases the price the most from trim level to trim level.
@Steven Jefferys did you receive a sales order and sales code? There isnt a way to "morph" these into 2023 models. This is simply a new truck all the way around. Again, this has been talked heavily on forums by moderators who work for Ford motor company. Don't hold your breath on it "morphing" because even if in the absolute magical chance you were able to order one, it will get simply cancelled. I ordered my platinum in January and never saw it. In fact they canceled my order because there will be a change over soon and it won't get built. I'm not here to say you are wrong, but definitely check the forums and read everything you can because you were given some crazy false information.
@Trevor Campbell my salesman was very clear that it was around 90% likely that my order would morph into a 2023 model since I ordered the Platinum model. I'm up in Canada and he said that he saw a guy get a bare bones F250 XL in two months (yes, two months). I'm okay with this as I want to get the truck when there's no snow on the ground here in Canada.
how? they stopped taking orders back in like April. This was discussed heavily on almost every single forum. They did this knowing they would not be able to meat the demand of orders prior to the change over to 2023 style.
Honestly, it looks like a lot of the changes to the tech are things that they have been putting on the F-150 for a couple years, but they are nice to have. They will make this truck that much more advanced than the prior generations, as well as give a leg up on the competition. Interested to hear the numbers on the 6.7 HO engine.
Good coverage of the new stuff coming out. Too much fluff in this truck for me but it is a King Ranch and I guess fluff is what it is about. I just need a truck, no steps, no handles, no fancy electronics. Just a truck. I'll be listening for the info you bring us on the new engine as you learn more. Thanks.
It is looking good. Kinda funny though that now Ford is doing the same style bed steps as GM has for a few years now. I am very curious to see what they did with the XLT. I hope they are going to offer a similar high level package as in the 150 with dual power front seats and other little things.
I love it, I had an '08 F450, and really loved it for hauling a 43' fifth wheel, the 6.4 diesel wasn't any good, so I went through two of them. I bought a '17 F350 and absolutely loved it.
Seems like a great truck. I'm a Dodge Ram guy and what I strongly dislike about the King Ranch and the Ram Laramie is the two tone paint and interior. I prefer a more solid, subtle interior and exterior. The technology on this truck is awesome! Hope you're feeling well!
Like all the new features but I was mostly interested in the output numbers of the engines, especially the new "high output" Powerstroke. Also wanted to hear what's new in 2023 on the price tag. Doubt it's close to my 2000 F350 PS I bought new and had to special order a 6 sp manual trans paid- $24K and still pulling huge trailers over 12,000ft passes. The bells and whistles are tempting, until reality sets in... Overall great video, thanks.
these truck prices are insane my 2005 Harley davidson edition all the options, 6.0 Powerstroke, window sticker 65,000 my 2018 F250 platinum all the options the window sticker was 112,000 i wish we could go back to 2000-2008 range those trucks were in my opinion the most capable with the least amount of crap slapped on it to make it not a truck anymore. i don't care if the truck doesn't ride like a kayak on smooth as glass water, i don't care how big if any at all of a screen it has, only thing i really care about if its got a Diesel engine 4 wheel drive, decent seats, good a/c and is crew cab.
I see two new things that I like, camera on tailgate and the weight measurement. Nice on board generator, interior caught up w Ram very nice w lay flat seats, engine choice is intriguing. Price may hurt sales. Especially at todays internet rates. Gorgeous truck.
Hey JD hope your feeling better and doing your cardio rehab.Great presentation, they did mention they lowered the tail gate step 3", great for people like me 5'8"
Thank you for this first walk around! I love my 2020 350 Platinum and my plan is to order the new King Ranch. I wish we could have gotten a glimpse of the load rating sticker.
Very exciting! Does it have an integrated work station built into the console? Love your videos....very thorough and to the point! Hope you're doing good, JD!!
Great informational video! It looks like Ford has finally started listening to their customers just a little more. As for the different options in the 6.7L diesel & 6.7L diesel HO, it seems to be just a way to justify and drive-up the cost. Which is unfortunate and petty on Fords part.
My question is can they make them? I work at a ford dealer and it is incredibly hard to get product. It doesn’t matter if it’s a vehicle or a component. I’ve seen everything from computers to air filters go on back order with no ETA.
Yup, exactly. Put an order in for a F450 Platinum last month, but it's looking like it's going to morph into a 2023. Plus, Ford deleted the massage seats due to a lack of chips (according to my salesman).
As always you do a great job with your videos. I learn so much from them. There is so much to bring up about the new for 23 the 350 and 450. I’m not going to talk about all the good things with the new trucks or I would be here all night. I would have done anything for Ford to have changed the rear Dually fenders. The RAM BY FAR AND AWAY HAS THE BEST RESR FENDERS.
I like the look of ram dually bedside better also....but then I got to thinking about ease of repair. Only have had my 450 for a few months, but I have to think it'll be a lot easier to repair or replace a fender opposed to an entire bedside....hoping never have to do either.
Good looking Offering. I wonder if Ford is going to have enough Electronics/Integrated (IC) Chips to offer the 2023 Heavy Duty Truck when they have stockpiles of 2022 waiting on electronic components to complete the build.
The stockpiles of 2022's are not waiting on any electrical parts or chips. They are waiting on grill and side badges, aka plastic parts. There is also a shortage of rail cars to transport the finished vehicles.
Excited for the new tech I have a 22 f450 and I see some things I would love to have on it but got to say I’m really not liking the front end grill and head lights much prefer the 22 look
Great review JD. I have a 2022 and I do like the updates since then. Of course, I also like seeing that Alliance Valor connected to it :) Jim Beletti, Alliance RV
You'll have to ask if there's a digital rear view camera option? was there a button to control the convex on the mirrors? Exhaust brake updated? Overall, I like it!
Very nice! Definitely a lottery purchase for me! Haha! But seriously, these trucks arent affordable for most people anymore! People are relying way too much on camera's and sensors to change lanes, etc. It's creating bad habits. I can justify a backup camera for hooking up to a camper of sorts.
You were the first to go into detail on the Interior where everyone else focused on the exterior. Would have been great to see the displays in action too, but you got what you could get. That KR interior is a carry over from the F-150 and pictures of the seats made them look funky, showing up on Video though I can see they look a lot better than I thought. I really like the new dash. Maybe in 24 I will order a KR 450 to replace my 19 Platinum. Will see, the new SD has some really neat features with the camera and stop and go ACC which my F-150 had and I used it a lot. Was disappointed when I found out the ACC in the 19 SD was not the same system.
During the live launch last night, the lady that was the director for S.D mentioned the Power Stroke as having 450 hp and 1050 ft. lbs of torque for the standard. If correct, that is a 25 hp drop but the same torque as the 22 model. Maybe they did that so the new high output model will seem like a larger increase. I would say the H.O version will be close to 500 hp but the more important torque number will probably be over 1100. She mentioned the 6.8 as having more power than the outgoing 6.2 which would be more than 385 if correct. She also said the 7.3 would be more powerful in both hp and torque. Fun times for the Super Duty for sure! Home run in my book!
I have a 2016 version of this truck. (It's even the same color. 🙂) My 2016 replaced my 2008, which replaced my 2005, which replaced my 1997, which replaced my 1987......you get the idea. I have been a Ford diesel guy since the original 6.9 International Harvester engines were in them. They have come a long, long way! When I got my 2016, I thought that was as good as Ford could do. It looks like I was wrong. This truck is beautiful. And there are specific features mentioned in this video that are interesting to me. The lay-flat seats, the extra/towing cameras, extra steps for bed access, etc. I am impressed. I will reserve final judgement until I see the price tag. I'm guessing this is going to be north of 120K. At some point, a business class semi might become a more cost effective option. The reason I haven't already switched is because I still use 4x4 on a regular basis. And a 4x4 Pete is something my back just won't take anymore. Still, a beautiful truck. (You just can't beat a King Ranch if you spend a lot of time driving.) I am curious to know if they have made the exhaust brake better. There is exactly one thing I like better about Ram. Their exhaust brake is far superior to my Ford. At least in my 2016 model. Great video.
Good video. I hope the side steps on the side of the bed are option. I'm not a big fan of those on any truck. But other then that looks pretty good. I'm going to guess the standard 6.7 powerstroke will probably have the same horsepower and torque as the current one. All that technology is great but I definitely would hate to have to pay to have that stuff fixed. 🙂
@Jon Hatten actually no, my dad had a 73 F-350 regular cab that had them from the factory. It was an option back then. One of my local GM salesman. He told me that an engineer told him that GM got the idea from a stepside pickup because they have a step in that thing spot. 🙂
Mighty good work for a fellow that just had a medical emergency. Shows your a tough hard working fellow. To be respected. Great work and pull through brother.
Just my personal opinion (even though there's slight bias to appearance with my incoming '22 F450 Limited), but I can honestly say that I don't like the way the new ones look. Sure, it's new, but I think I got lucky with securing one of the last "perfect" Super Duty trucks
Having a gas V8 option is nice. Earlier this year there were concerns about DEF not being available in the northeast part of the country due to supply chain issues.
Had me a little worried talking about using the touch screen for upfit equipment, but I'm relieved that they retrained the switches. Having dirty hands, or wearing gloves, an actual switch is needed.
I love all the technology offered in this truck but wow, maybe in 10-15 years I can buy the F250 version of this lol. I wonder how much harder they made this model to delete and tune compared to the current year models. 🤔
Very nice video! Really helped me understand the new features and changes. Just don't like the short grill! That is NOT a SD grill! Hope you are feeling better!
Great truck, I would have liked to have the screen out of the Expedition it's 15.5" and it wasn't mentioned if you can mirror your side and back cameras. That means leave them on all the time while driving down the road. With the bigger screen you could do that on the bottom half and still have your navigation screen on the top half.
Looks nice, but I'm a bit disappointed that they limited rear AC power to 2000W/120V. I was hoping for the full "Pro Power" setup with 12V and 30A 240V found on the F150 PowerBoost. It obvisouly doesn't have the PowerBoost's battery pack to draw from, but being able to plug your trailer or welder into the new SuperDuty while it's idling would be awesome.
Looks alot softer than the outgoing model. The outgoing looks tough and mean. But let's see how it grows on me, still going to order the 2023 over the buying a older model.
Great Video JD. JD will you be driving the 2023 Super Duty? Curious on how the new Super Duty’s handle and ride etc. Also JD will you be upgrading to a 2023 model?
Beautiful truck I have owned 3 super dutys and nothing has been done about the squatting when you put a heavy load on the bed 🤷♂️ they should give you the option to get it with air bags on the rear suspension
JD, sorry if I didn't heard it but I wonder if they fix the TPMS problem with the 19.5 rims/valves? That will be something convenient to have. Let me know what you think! Great video!
Awesome they kept the Diesel Freight Train look and kept the tactile switches and knobs. I love big trucks all the brands but this one also reminded me of my 99 Lincoln Town Car Presidential Touring Sedan. It’s the color combination and now you can go anywhere. I still don’t like moonroofs but ehh when you’re spending this much money what the heck. Great Video Thank You 🙏 Hope your feeling better!!
Ford makes a great truck. However one puzzling thing for me has been the engineering under the hood. Last I looked GM had done a much better job with virtually the same size diesel V8. Would be interested in your opinion.
I'm in love, That two tone paint is out of this world fantastic . And that load scale feature is the coolest feature ever. I almost didn't watch this video glad I did though . now all I need is the probably 120k+ it's going to cost. PS Great review JD.
I'm pretty sure Ford had to pay GM a nice piece of change to GM's step design, although I'm not surprised. Ford did partner with GM when they designed their 10-speed transmission, and not only that GM has been allowing luxury brands to use their Magnetic Ride system
Grate video and very informative. I always enjoy your content and I always can learn something from you. Slow to you. Please take care of yourself and provide more content.
This may be enough to sway me to the F250, the new exterior is significantly better. I need to try the Laramie seats though, RAM has great seats but significantly lower capability and GMs seats are awful (unless they change in the 2024). We regularly go on 10-12 hour trips with the travel trailer and I need a comfy seat as I get older.
Hey JD hope you are feeling better. Beautiful truck great features but the price tag is going to be insane. Still loving my 2000 7.3 Powerstroke with no payments, DEF, or filters.
Idk about the rear fenders I like the gen before🫤
@Tom Hoffner poor alert
Poor boomer alert!
7.3 is the best d engine every made
@Dex Dex yep it’s all bullet proofed.
Lighting is very important on a work truck, whether it is a hot shot, farm/ ranch, or construction work vehicle. Why does Ford make you add a "add on after market" light bar. La
I think a 7k or even 10k generator option with the diesel would be a handy tool for work, emergency’s, and boon-docking!
@Andrew George its an engine driven accessory drive. its an available option. thats what they put on cab and chassis that run booms, dump bodies, and whatever else you can think of. its like the output shaft on the rear of a tractor, unlimited uses and attachments.
@Tyler Ashba what is pto?
You can get those as aftermarket PTO attachments. If you select the pto option on the build sheet of course
I am truly excited to see this. I'm not old enough to own a truck like this, but I am a HUGE Super Duty lover. It looks extraordinary. The amount of time Ford put into this was so worth it. Thank you Ford.
@Edward Stroko Thank ya for being supportive brother👍💪
U will someday buddy!!!😎💪🇺🇸
Beautiful truck! I'm on the list to get one ordered in October. The only thing I really hate about the truck are the bedside steps. They're gonna be a pain to keep clean.
And they are hideous.
@J Wald I love the actual step when I’m working out of the bed. But for quick access the fender and bumper steps would be nice
@J Morgan3235 pretty sure it'll have a hole to drain
@John Sandlin yup simple design no pulling levers or a step coming from somewhere and it works, keep it simple
This was my fav new feature. I’ve always wished my ford had these steps.
For how excited you sounded JD, I was worried your heart was going to be racing 😮. Hope you’re feeling better! I love the new design of the super duty, I also love the technology. Very curious about the new engine specs. Thanks for your videos!

My favorite upgrade, the physical button to turn the heated steering wheel on and off. Overall, some great improvements on this new model.

Absolutely gorgeous! I see an upgrade in your future!!

All about the load carrying capacity of the 19.5
I really like the new stuff. I think it a gorgeous truck. I bet starting price for the king ranch like this is $90k but all the option will go well over $110k.
I'm sure of that...... My lariat was 92k
Honestly thinking more lik stating at 110k
Curious to see if there’s any changes to towing and payload on the 450. Hope you’re feeling better sir.
That looks really nice. I do wish they would have gone with 245’s with the wider rims with the option of 265’s. But they have really stepped up the luxury of the truck! Great review! Thank you! I hope you keep feeling better.
I love that package. As always you have given an informative description of the King of the Road.
Hope all is well with ya! Doug
Ford keeps out doing themselves when it comes to trucks. This 2023 Super Duty really raises the bar. What a beautiful truck
A lot of great features all over. Love the 6.7 and my 2011 super duty. The one thing I would not like is that weigh scale indicator in the rear lights. DOT will be all over that.
The interior is great! It looks very F150 in a good way. The center stack controls are perfect.
Be well, JD!

Hey JD: Hope your feeling better. The only thing missing is a camera for the gooseneck hitch. If you have a tool box or tri fold cover installed you cant see the hitch ball from the cab. Seems like a big over sight on fords part.
1:12 The bedside step is one thing GM got right and I wish I had it on my truck. Nice feature for Ford to add.
Love the bedside and rear step options hope that is included on lower trim models. I wish they had a basic and higher level LED headlamp and just get rid of the incandescent headlights altogether.

Exactly, we in 2023 and still use bulbs from the 70s tech
loving a-lot of the features, confused on some. Over all, in 2017 I mostly was against the new body-style, now I love it with the wider front wheel base. Don't like the automated trailer stuff, but I'm curious what the "High Output 6.7" can do VS my tunes. Thanks for the quality video brother.
Wondering what the HO PSD do compared to a tune??
How about keep your warranty intact???
Yea i been wondering the same thing or do they still have the same 6.7 in the 20-22 as a option
I love what they did with the truck absolutely beautiful interior! I love that leather!
I love it. Thanks for doing this. Can’t wait to see the output numbers.
LOL
the same basic system is currently available on the f150 so if you want to know more look that up.
Really like the color of the leather. Hopefully they improved cooling for the engine and transmission so they don’t run so dang hot. Our 2019 ran way to hot. Great looking truck.
@Rick Caudill mine was 200-210 empty then 220-230+ towing.
@Alex around town 200-210. Towing 220-230+
They did in 2020 with the new the generation power stroke and 10 speed transmission.
@Alex I routinely see 220-240 oil temps on my 15 F-450 and usually around 220-225 coolant temps while towing. empty I'm usually around 180-200
What trans temp were you seeing? Driving around town I usually saw 170-190 degrees and 190-210 while towing in my 2018 F-350.
Interested to hear the numbers on the 6.7 HO engine.
typically better or new features are put on the F150 first and then the higher models later
Beautiful truck! Nice interior. Glad to see no fake wood grain look.
That new rebel looks nice huh
Love this truck. Please tell Ford I'm open to testing it for 2 years and if I have to I'll even evaluate the fifth wheel.
Nicely done once again.
@Justn Saliga BINGO !!!! Love My 99 7.3 6 spd Crew Cab Long Bog. 91,000 miles
these truck prices are insane my 2005 Harley davidson edition all the options, 6.0 Powerstroke, window sticker 65,000 my 2018 F250 platinum all the options the window sticker was 112,000 i wish we could go back to 2000-2008 range those trucks were in my opinion the most capable with the least amount of crap slapped on it to make it not a truck anymore. i don't care if the truck doesn't ride like a kayak on smooth as glass water, i don't care how big if any at all of a screen it has, only thing i really care about if its got a Diesel engine 4 wheel drive, decent seats, good a/c and is crew cab.
Hey JD,
When will they consider allowing the limited and other upper level trucks to allow the extended cab rather than the crew cab?
I really like the new style. The new side badges throw me off a little. The technology in this is amazing will nake towing much easier and safer.
Very exciting! Does it have an integrated work station built into the console? Love your videos....very thorough and to the point! Hope you're doing good, JD!!
I'm waiting for the air ride cab option. I think it will work out fine for a truck this size.
This one doesn’t look like it does. Those deals are handy. I’ve used it a lot more than I thought I would!
@Chris Maas well my salesman never told me that. He did say that it would most likely morph into a 2023. He never promised a 2022.
@Steven Jefferys
2022 Superduty order banks closed 4/1/22 impossible to order a 22 last month.
That's what I thought
Yup, exactly. Put an order in for a F450 Platinum last month, but it's looking like it's going to morph into a 2023. Plus, Ford deleted the massage seats due to a lack of chips (according to my salesman).
Really interesting how designs have started flowing between brands like the side step and bumper step are in my Chevy and ram has a h.o.diesel also
I may just have to go get one. I wonder if they did anything about making the engine brake better?
*tune
A delete and a tow tube will fix it.
Hey. I'm glad to see you up and around. That truck is beautiful but I'm sure the price of the new trucks are going to be beyond ridiculous.
It looks awesome. I can't wait until they officially release it.
Very nice! ford still hasn’t released it on there live stream. Everything just looks so good and the steps in the bumper are key for me.
Just a jaw dropping technological feat of engineering prowess. Beautiful look too!
Great review JD. I have a 2022 and I do like the updates since then. Of course, I also like seeing that Alliance Valor connected to it :)
Jim Beletti, Alliance RV
You'll have to ask if there's a digital rear view camera option? was there a button to control the convex on the mirrors? Exhaust brake updated? Overall, I like it!
Very nice! Definitely a lottery purchase for me! Haha! But seriously, these trucks arent affordable for most people anymore! People are relying way too much on camera's and sensors to change lanes, etc. It's creating bad habits. I can justify a backup camera for hooking up to a camper of sorts.
Great truck !!! Will consider this on my next purchase, glad your back at it !!
I haven’t watched anything on the truck yet, waited for this guy who goes by JD to discuss 😎
You mean you don't like them on Gm trucks cause thats where they got it from
Absolutely Stunning truck. Only Ford can do it.
Mighty good work for a fellow that just had a medical emergency. Shows your a tough hard working fellow. To be respected.
Great work and pull through brother.
Great looking 450 waiting to see what the new numbers are on the new high output 6.7
Just my personal opinion (even though there's slight bias to appearance with my incoming '22 F450 Limited), but I can honestly say that I don't like the way the new ones look. Sure, it's new, but I think I got lucky with securing one of the last "perfect" Super Duty trucks
Oh my God, I am so in love. I've been waiting for this 2023 model. Sadly, I still can't afford it.
Truly a great truck awesome technology, but I still love the 17 to 19 model body type.
So far so good! Want the details that haven’t been revealed to make a final opinion🎉
Bout time the come around to the GM bumper step and the bed step, the front r d is going to have to grow on me.
Are they going to allow the chassis/cab to have a higher trim level than Lariat? Would love a F-550 KR.
It’s beautiful 🤩 but I’m sure the price is insane love the king ranch trim. I have an 04 f250 king ranch and it’s nice and comfortable
I like the look of the truck. Very solid look.
Good to see Ford picked up on a bunch of things GM has been doing in terms of the exterior.
GM fuglied theirs since 2008.
Would love to know if PCM and all the on board modules for that matter are over the Air Update able on the 2023.
Ford makes a great truck. However one puzzling thing for me has been the engineering under the hood. Last I looked GM had done a much better job with virtually the same size diesel V8. Would be interested in your opinion.
I hope they keep the Tremor package for the 3/4 tons. I assume the 7.3 Godzilla will have more power if a new base gasser is replacing the 6.2.
Man that’s a beautiful truck! Makes me want one so bad 😂
I'm in love, That two tone paint is out of this world fantastic . And that load scale feature is the coolest feature ever. I almost didn't watch this video glad I did though . now all I need is the probably 120k+ it's going to cost. PS Great review JD.
My 2008 F350 King Ranch seats were like sitting on plastic chairs. I love those. Amazing truck.
I'm pretty sure Ford had to pay GM a nice piece of change to GM's step design, although I'm not surprised. Ford did partner with GM when they designed their 10-speed transmission, and not only that GM has been allowing luxury brands to use their Magnetic Ride system
Ergonomic to have headlight knob down there!
Should be on a column stalk.
Grate video and very informative. I always enjoy your content and I always can learn something from you. Slow to you. Please take care of yourself and provide more content.
I’m waiting to see if you can get the 12” screen in the XLT like you can in the F150
Thanks for the preview. I've been waiting. I want a 350. Every truck up here in Canada is over 100k. I hope your still taking it slow.
The front light have the king ranch logo look to them. It’s pretty cool
