Здравствуйте Макс! Спасибо за полезный урок. Я часто забываю все эти глаголы. Кстати, я раньше вам написала. Я надеюсь, что вы получили мое сообщение в Инстаграме.
Большое спасибо, Макс! отличное видео! очень познавательно и весело. поздравления, Я слежу за тобой уже два года, мне нравится твой контент Привет из Барселоны!
Hi there Max, could you explain to us when to use HCB and CB in their infinitivr form? Please Max this is a very important topic in the russian language.
At the end, you simulated slipping on the floor. It looked real! I thought you were about to fall. Conclusion: the physical aspect of your teaching is very good. More physical demonstrations please, or even some physical comedy (10 seconds or so) like "the three stooges".
I squinted at you when you cracked your knuckles.
Still trying to listen while trying to figure out whether the verb I need is supposed to be Perfective or Imperfective. (It's exhausting; and the analysis shuts down the listening. Ой.) Anyway, what is "НСВ" and "СВ" again? Thanks. Really like your channel; just discovered it. I'll hang in and keep trying.
Is it true that during the Soviet Union, despite being a system with a thousand flaws, there was a feeling of brotherhood between the Soviet republics? Nowadays Russian ethnonationalism is more predominant, and that is why the Caucasian and Buryat minorities, for example, are the most disadvantaged from every point of view. Am I right? It would be really interesting if you made a video about it, it's really hard to find a Russian who talks about it for us westerners.
Buenas tardes soy de Argentina....yo estudié gramática rusa en casa de Rusia de la ciudad de mar del plata.... ocurrió que mí profesora mí gran tesoro soviética....partió con Dios ...ud tiene el mismo sistema de estudió que ella ...es muy difícil encontrar un profesor así.. me gustó encontrarlo...yo estaba muy desilusionada no encuentro un profesor/a así ...y felicitaciones 🥂🍾🎈
Hi everyone - I'll post in English to avoid mistakes. I'm so afraid to try to learn these verbs. I just feel like I'll never learn all these words. It feels impossible. I'm just starting verbs of motion. Can anyone learning Russian tell me - maybe I'm freaking out over nothing? Maybe I'm overreacting? I just spent almost two days trying to remember the word "примерить" - it's finally getting better. What do all think - do I just need to take a deep breath? I refuse to give up. But at the same time, this is taking an emotional toll on me. Please help. Everybody else seems so happy like they are learning it all soooo easily, and having fun ... and I feel so stupid. 😭😭😭. This is so emotional for me.
@MTKZ Thanks for the input. I think I just panicked because I just didn't see any light at the end of the tunnel. But, thanks to so many of you here, I'm starting to realize that I just need to give it time and my brain will make the associations on its own. This is already starting to happen. For example: I don't think I'll ever forget the word: "размер" or "c раздником." So, things on my level, I'm okay with. It's just that when (more out of curiosity) I look at the more advanced stuff, it's like being at the bottom of Mt. Everest and wondering how on earth am I going to get to the top of this thing. So, again, thx for encouraging me to enjoy the ride. My teacher is fabulous. She says we will not even start working on verbs of motion with prefixes until B1. Right now, it's important that I learn basic verbs of motion because that will set some sort of foundation for more to come. Oh, what do you think about having a yearly Russian Language Global Conference with Max? He has 66,000 subscribers. If even 10% of us show up, that's like 660 PEOPLE! It would be cool to have a conference ALL IN RUSSIAN. That way, us true fans and serious learners can meet and build networks.
I returned to learning Russian after a long time. I totally know what you mean, when I was younger I would be very impatient and almost OCD about trying to memorize and recall words. Eventually I stopped learning at all because it was stressful and not fun. Now, it's like a hobby and I've learned so much in a short time. Now I just try to enjoy and get maximum exposure to Russian, like 1-2 hours a day. Mostly passive studying, but after 5 months I started getting an intuitive understanding for the language and now it's super fun and interesting. It'll take 4 or 5 times before I internalize vocabulary, but if I see hundreds of words a day, eventually I learn them. My absolute favorite thing is Russian word formation. I'm always fascinated by the stem/root system that turns up everywhere as well as the prefix and suffix system. Focusing on that will double or triple vocabulary and allow you to reason through unknown words. I hope to know the grammar well one day, but for now I mostly do vocabulary. And from what some people say, you can understand and be understood without being grammatically perfect. Steve Kaufman's channel and LingQ has helped me a lot...we'll make lots of mistakes and forget everything 3 or 4 times, but that's okay! Good luck!
@LIam White I'm so glad you responded. What you write is so true. I also speak two other language. And in the case of French, in the beginning, I simply could not remember idioms, or even complex connectors. But one day, I started remember more complex ways of expressing myself - AND it started to become EASIER to remember more. Some things, I don't even remember HOW I learned them. I suspect my base grew stronger, enabling me to do that. Clearly, I often make the mistake that if I'm not recalling some word from a glossary list then I'm not really studying. But what you said rang so true to my experience and I'm going to try to take it easy and see where that leads me. If I'm just starting on идти, ездить, и.т.д., then there are just some aspects of the language that are clearly beyond me at the moment. So, I'll just enjoy this video for a change, trust the process, and then come back to it in a few months when I'll tackle it again. You have calmed my fears. I appreciate it. (And THANKS MAX for creating this community where we can all support each other. Hopefully when the geopolitical situation calms down, I would be down for attending a global conference of Russian language learners. Maybe we could all meet in Serbia where you are. It could be like a Polyglot conference, but just for Russian learners.) Thanks again Llam White!
Don't sweat it if seems like you're not making progress or the whole idea of learning Russian seems to be an impossible task. You're running a marathon, not a sprint and the older you are, the longer it will take. That's just how it is. Learn at your own pace but make it a regular part of your daily routine to learn a few words or verbs, read a simple short text, sing along with Russian songs, listen to a podcast for Russian learners, whatever. Stick with it and you'll find that you're getting better.
Макс это не случайно что ты один из лучших преподавателей русского языка на ютубе. Сильно тебя оцениваю!
Я совершенно согласен.
Moshe Riske Zigzag. There is a program which can help you improve your level of Russian. It is Импровизация. Истории

I LOVE when you do videos like this; it's simple stuff that we all need to know but isn't talked about enough on other Russian learning platforms.
There is a program Импровизация. Истории. It's very interesting and funny and it will help you improve Russian, understand our humor and mentality

That was very useful. I will watch this video several times to memorize these verbs.
Один пословица кидается в глаза:
Иван кивается на Петра́, а Пётр на Сидора!😆
Those videos are very useful. Vocabulary lists are impossible to learn.
Love your ambition but as a newbie I'm still looking for top 10 lists haha

Отличное видео что значит hcb и CB?
Thanks 💯
You covered "wink", but I think you missed "blink" (both eyes at once), which is actually more common.
In Russian to blink is моргáть (imperfective) / моргну́ть (perfective)
Мах, я вижу, что у тебя красивая, ясная квартира. Поздравляю тебя!!

Ногами тоже можно шаркать. Это считается не очень приличным. В Детсве моя мама часто сказала: поднимай нога, не шаркай ногами!
отличный!
Макс спасибо за видео. Ли не неудачно свистеть внутри здания? Или только старым людям боясь это?
The Great Max 😎😎😎🥸🥸
Max, I have an idea for you: take screenshots from this, create an Anki deck out of it, and sell that Anki deck on your website.
Привет Макс.Вам удачи
