Not at all, we know we are not the only ones in the universe, because there's billions of billions of billions of galaxies, and so billions and billions and billions of planets and solar systems, which some of them is without doubt in the habitable zone. And the idea of being not alone = terrifying it's just stupid, since there are lot of empires, civilizations, or incontaminated planets that rest there, in the infinite space ready for our taking.

@-Amel- Yeah i'm not so sure about that especially since we can go smaller than an atom. Even only taking atoms into consideration, know that in a hydrogen atom, if the nucleus were the size of the sun, the electron would be orbiting at a distance of about 6 times the distance of the sun to pluto. That's just one atom. humans are made up of around 6.5 octillion atoms. there's only about 200 sextillion stars in the entire observable universe.

I thought it was so crazy seeing how big the universe actually is. 4-5 years later and I've completely taken a full interest in astronomy. Thank you so much for inspiring me and many other people. Dont forget about going even smaller. Like microscopy down to atomic level and then even smaller to quantum level. Its similar extreme size differences as our planet compared to other stellar objects. In relation to that we are really huge.

we humans are cosmos way to experiment and ultimate try and know itself just as Alan Watts once said. We humans have this bad habit of considering ourself as the center of this universe the universe does not rotate around us. one day humankind will go boom and at the end nothing will really matter. This is the perfect time to be alive i would say even if it is as a lab rats to the observer but people still be like what is my purpose in life there is actually no purpose you live however you want enjoy each moment to the fullest. the end is just enternal void dark and gloomy.

@Michael_M The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. Ding A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. Ding Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, ding
