THE UNDERTAKER RETURNS! | WWE Raw Highlights 1/23/23 | WWE on USA

This is the passing of the torch that we thought would have happened at Wrestlemania so many years ago! But the power of the dark has finally been passed on into a new era of creepy voices, lights outs and macabre promos! Loving it!!

I absolutely love the presence of the Undertaker. He doesn't need to say a word, and yet he says so many things. His posture. Body language. The way he moves. His eyes. They all say everything he needs to, and he doesn't have to utter a single word.

That was definitely a pass the torch moment. By virtue of the fact that WWE chose The Undertaker to build Bray Wyatt’s character in that segment was highly symbolic of one lord of darkness endorsing the new lord of darkness in the WWE. Rather than execute his finisher, the Undertaker passed the buck to Bray so that the spotlight would be on him. Great move. Good job, HHH.

HHH is making me enjoy wrestling again almost like it’s the 90s, just in a different way

A throwback to a much better time in wrestling.

LA Knight getting this push is well deserved, he has so much charisma that we have not seen in so long. The fact they are putting him in the same ring with the Undertaker and Bray Wyatt is testiment to it.

Going from Max Dupri to being involved in one of the best moments in recent RAW history is just awesome. Congrats to LA Knight for holding his own here. Looked great. What a star he is

I can happily say I've experienced an Undertaker entrance AND a Stone Cold pop in person. There's little more to be desired.

Mark never has too do ANYTHING to get a pop from the crowd. It just goes too show how relevant he still is too this business. And is needed back for special occasions like this.

Can we appreciate how great LA Knight has been so far since reverting back to LA Knight

Just imagine the emotions Bray Wyatt fell when the Undertaker told him that whatever it was when the Undertaker told him that you could tell he felt good about himself

LA Knight completed his promo pretty well & kept the crowd reacting to him after such a good pop for Taker I’m impressed with his mic skills..

Not even a single word said by the Undertaker, just a legend

That was absolutely incredible undertaker will always be my favorite wrestler in the WWE he's still got it!!

Seeing Taker made me realize how much he is missed I hope he can participate in this angle someway however, I feel this segment was a torch passing moment between Bray & Taker.

This was/is the best version of the undertaker- the American badass intro with the chopper brings back the old attitude era vibes!
28years old-don’t watch wrestling anymore and actually cracked a smile once I seen that chopper wheel

I haven’t watched WWE in soooooo long, and it’s sad to see absolutely everyone has their phones out recording. Can’t enjoy the beautiful moment on its own, cause without a picture there’s no happiness these days. Especially with such an iconic moment, if you can call it that these days… the way WWE has become.

I never thought I'd see The Undertaker and Bray Wyatt working together.

Bray’s theme music playing and the timing of the lantern, the retreat, the lighting of the undertaker was beautifully executed.

The fact all this was going down on my birthday. The Undertaker returning is the best birthday present I could ask for😩❤️

I used to love when I heard Undertaker's entrance music hit. I'd have time to run to the John, then to the snack bar, then to the t-shirt vendor before returning to my seat just as he climbs the steps to the ring.

This gave me all the chills. I remember watching Judgment Day back in 2000 when the American Badass finally debuted after what seemed like endless video teasers 💯🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🔥🔥

First time seeing this LA Knight guy. The dude is awesome on the mic. He’s getting positive crowd responses even with the Undertaker in the ring. That little “Yeah!” He does is so simple and effective.

Undertaker did things the right way. All this time, and he's still in great shape and able to do his thing. It's almost like he never left.

Taker tossing Knight into Bray, for Abigail, and then whispering whatever he said, is pretty much symbolically the passing of the torch... loved it

I remember once Triple H called this era the reality era. With all the superstars poking at each other about their personal lives, I'd say he's right. So American Badass Undertaker is perfect for this era because it is who Mark Calaway is.

This was my Undertaker. I was 8 when he premiered this gimmick and I couldn’t get enough. We all know Undertaker is the deadman, but American Badass is the ultimate Taker to me.

This was amazingly done. Taker basically just said "show him the darkness" and just walked off like the badass he is. 😀

This was the BEST undertaker hands down. Sends chills down your spine! I grew up with this version! American badass!!!!!!

I have watched this segment at least 2 dozen times and I have come to the conclusion that although I have no clue who la knight is in this moment I would have given my life to be him. Getting the life choked out of me by the TRUE Mr. WrestleMania Undertaker then being kissed by Bray Wyatt!!!!! That's my kinda night fo sho!!!!!!!!!!

The Undertaker coming back was freaking amazing. That's been the best segment that bray has been in since he came back. It's been a freaking shame what they've done with him but I hope for the best and he has it in him to be the best thing in WWE.

I love how LA Knight was the torch in the passing of the torch segment lol. The passing of the torch is usually losing a match to a younger or upcoming talent but Taker made Knight the literal torch when he passed him to Wyatt lol.

Been a fan of LA Knight for several years since his Eli Drake days in TNA, and his mic skills have always been top tier.
Undertaker using his ABA gimmick again is something I would’ve never seen coming. Great segment all around.

This 'passing of the torch' segment. I loved it, that Kid Rock song playing, seeing 'The American Badass' Undertaker, and then seeing these two, face to face for the first time since WrestleMania 31. Awesome. Happy 30th Anniversary RAW, and here's to many more! Can't wait till Saturday at Royal Rumble.

For all the kiddies that are seeing this new WWE and didn't get to experience American Badass Undertaker back in the day, you just had to be there. WE can't put those times into words...

the Undertaker is like Clint Eastwood, he seems to get more badass the older he gets.
