This interview is a good example of why it’s important to listen to both sides of every story instead of just taking one side and running with it.

This was a great convo between the three of them and so happy to see Akademiks on the breakfast club especially knowing his origins and being a fan of his since late 2015-early 2016, congrats.

On these You tube streets, I'm just a nobody but I was totally impressed with the brothers' coherent and impressive conversation/dialogue. Please, do more of this, and less shooting when there is a misunderstanding. Uplifting representation here of our culture. Peace and blessings be unto you and your families.

If you been following AK Since 2012 it’s flabbergasting how far he came! He use to run 7 channels doing 5 vids a day on each and stream on Twitch 5 hours a day. Hard work Over Luck! Hate or not his work ethic is unbeatable.

AK has given a lot to the culture. A good amount of bloggers model his entire setup and the way they present video in information when reporting a story. He was the first one to do it. Also to his point AK gives so much game to how the industry works, labels work, deals work. He could be a college professor. There’s so many layers to AK which is why he’s so successful. He definitely brought light to the drill culture. If it wasn’t for DJ AK I wouldn’t know who young pappy was, lil jojo, lil reece, la Capone, Rondo, cdai, edai, FBG, kuttroat, lil Jay, lil Shawn, FBG, KI.. not saying he started the wave but his platform shined the light on those areas and the bs that was going on that only people that was from that area would know about. People don’t give him credit for that and although a lot of the guys I mentioned died horribly w/o war in chiraq people all over the world wouldn’t be blogging or talking about them. Their legacy was created from their demise and it was beneficial to both sides.

What I enjoy about listening to Ak is that he is a logical and critical thinker. The reason why things can never be addressed correctly is people are too literal and once they take something out of context they have short attention spans and move on to the next sensational news. I’ve been listening to rap since the 90’s and I never thought anything I heard in the lyrics was something I should do irl.

Man, Charlamagne's growth is inspiring. He's all peace and positivity now...

  • 84Victorious

Wow I just witnessed a whole new side of AK. These 3ree men should do a show together and I bet it would do very well. They would have Oprah trying to get them locked in some type of deal...

  • Mon Seigneur Vincent

This shit feels like a crossover episode

  • megajon collins

I’ve got to say this was a great interview, I had a my own view on AK before this but just goes to show unless your listening in full it’s not worth listening at all he made a a lot of valid points and came across well. The definition of what you see isn’t always what you get comes to mind. He’s a stand up guy

Best Interview in a long time! Keep bringing people like this on the platform.

  • Karsyn Eat my Mangos💦

He went from “his momma basement” on Twitch to the breakfast club & in everyone’s convo just using his voice & opinion. Inspiring

  • Marc

He accomplished what he wanted. Get enough reactions in order to interview bigger artists in the industry.

This the first full breakfast club interview I watched in a min forgot how entertaining they could be

  • Keviana Holmes

This was a great interview. I love AK’s platform.

They need to have a hip-Hop hall of fame. A true hall of fame based on sales, culture influence, etc. if inducted into hall of fame, those members should receive a stipend every month for life. Music brings in trillions so it’s possible. Plus that will force artist to step up their lyrics

  • Hollee Lifestyles

Yo AK is so well spoken and dropped alot of GEMS. Cardi can say nasty VILE things and gets a pass but Nicki can say 1 word and EVERYBODY loses their minds. If they DONT like you then youre the Bad Guy. As a Media Major this is so Inspirational! As Journalist after we apply to some of these networks, we have to create platforms of our own👏
