I'm from Brazil but this brings tears to my eyes. I'm not even that much into the royal family but all of this has so much meaning. The Queen mean a lot to so many people. I lost my grandmother in the begging of this year and my family (a big one) felt it sooo hard. My grandpa has passed away a long time ago and only my grandmother was left, but she had an entire different meaning to our family, as she was the brave mother who had to do pretty much everything to take care of all of her 7 children (as my grandfather was not a very good husband and would cause lota of trouble to the family). She raised her 7 children, now they have children, and they have children as well, so my grandmother was already a great grandmother. My whole family would reunite together at her house and we had lots of great and happy memories with her, at her house. She was truly the queen of our family. When we lost her it was like it was not real, as she was so strong and went through a lot and would always come back to us. Now I can only imagine how hard it is to loose a grandmother but also a grandmother to a whole country. It's sad, I mean, how everything comes to an end and so many history was created and now all that's left are memories. No, I'm wrong. My grandmother and The Queen left a legacy to lots of people and we will never forget them! R.I.P Queen Elizabeth! R.I.P Grandma! 💔

I'm not British, but I still deeply respect the queen. In the past 70 years, no matter how the world around her has changed, she is always she. She is always there, with her wisdom, charm and nobleness. Thank you, your majesty for your life long service. And now you can finally rest in peace.

Absolutely beautiful ceremony. The pageantry & grandeur of it all, coupled with sadness & grief. That lone piper was hauntingly beautiful & sad at the same time. What a historical tribute to a great woman. Rest in Power, Forever Queen. Farewell & God speed..

Must say, that is the first time that I've seen Charles actually appear to have feelings. You could see the sadness in his eyes, although far more composed than when I lost my Mother. As an American, I generally don't follow the royals, although I did admire the late Queen, but I found this celebration of her life very touching.

It was a very solemn state funeral where you can feel British culture and traditions. Queen Elizabeth, who reigned as British monarch for 70 years, the longest in history and was loved by the world, was a great person full of dignity. I would like to express my deepest condolences from Japan. Rest in Peace Her Majesty the Queen at Windsor Castle

The original king and Queen are long gone . There were so many different families who pushed ahead and took over from the original so called royal family . Clearly with changes over the years this family has zero bloodline to the royal family . This is strictly tradition and nothing more . Something stupid people still follow

This video made me very emotional. I lost my mom to cancer 1.5 yrs ago. She was 95, but it hurt. She was from Canada, and loved the royal family. She would be very sad at the Queen’s passing. Despite all the controversy in the family, people in my parents’ generation knew a family that helped lift morale in WWII and also got out there and worked for the war effort. An era has ended.

@E R prince 🤴 Philip was the Queen husband rock and support being a widow at 94 when she loss him was hard for her to deal with within 6 months after his death her health started to decline in October 2021 the Queen lived to see and celebrate her platinum jubilee in June 2022 but the Queen if she hadn't had died last month she never been able to do Royal engagements in the public eye the Queen had to retire from public life due to mobility and her declining health.

    • E R
      E R Ай бұрын

I think so as well, when Philip passed away, the love of her life was gone.
She started to loose weight so quickly, and then she got COVID, and I don't think she could ever recover from her grief. Maybe she just wanted to be with him and her family again.
My grandpa loved to be 100. And even then it wasn't enough time. It is never enough time. You always wish for just one more minute, or even a second to see them, hug them, or hear their voice, just one last time.
My dad died at 63, my mom at 70, my grandma when I was 6. At 38, I have lost everyone I was related to.
It is just me now. I am lucky i have my husband. My heart goes out to the royal family.

King Charles 3 was lucky to have both he parents who lived to a very grand old age but sometimes l used to things they lived to a old age because they were living a very privilege life style they didn't have the stresses and strains of the real world they were protected also they had their children and grandchildren who bothered about them and visted them it sad 😭 king Charles 3 lost both he parents in a space of a year from each other but the Queen probably couldn't cope with being a widow in her 90s she was stoic and tried to cope without her husband prince Philip but her life wasn't the same without him .

HM Charles III almost lost it as she was lowered and then during the anthem. You see the tear welling in his eyes. That will always stick with me as the moment it started to hit him. Hopefully he reaches out to his sons, they've been through this. No matter how old you are when a boy loses his mom it breaks him. Peace be with him and his entire family tonight.

@infotration 222 It's also been an issue since Luther split off from the Catholic church in the 1500s, so not a new problem.

    • Erin
      Erin 2 ай бұрын

@infotration 222 According to general Catholic doctrine (not always believed/enforced) they don't believe that Protestants are Christians because they believe that Catholicism is the only way. Not all of them follow that, but it's part of the issues between the two groups. I've also heard that good Catholics can't go in non-Catholic churches, similar to the idea that non-Muslims can't go in mosques.
If this were an issue of, for example, a Baptist and an Anglican, this probably wouldn't be an issue because the two denominations don't butt heads the same way Catholics and Protestants do.

Having The Queen's personal bagpipe player walk away while playing her requested lament was an outstanding way for her reign and final journey home to officially end. The music fading away is so moving it makes your heart skip a beat. The finality was evident. Queen Elizabeth II has left this world. Now she can rest eternally and peacefully with those who went before her. Job well done, Your Highness. God Save The King. Sincerely, your cousin from across the pond.

      King George VI Memorial Chapel:

I'm guessing nobody else will be buried there as it would be too "cramped" and they need to be looked after, and visited by future royals as if there was a 6th coffin. No room to move, hence why the Sister got her ashes instead of a coffin. Her choice

I made a heartfelt comment on the sadness at the Queens funeral and got a sarcastic weird creepy reply from Bob Perkins whom has replied to you.
I would be careful as I've reported him to KZclip.
I've seen other replies to female's from him so just be careful.
I was so upset in his replies to me , totally shocked and disgusted by what he said.
      Just being helpful to you.

The places where she lay in state still felt like she was here, but this act of removing the sceptre, orb, crown and then this: it really was the moment that her reign was over. There was a real shift in King Charles for this moment too, it truly now is his time to reign.

@Cesar Robledo It does not matter what station in life you have. Your Mother is your Mother. We the public only get to see one side, we are not privy to how they act when all are gathered together. It takes a great deal of self restraint to hold it together when billions or eyes are upon you. If you took the time to look at them, you can see the grief on their faces, at least 99% the 1% the less said the better.
