LionWhispererTV aim is to raise awareness about The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary’s mission is to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss, human-predator conflict, unscrupulous hunting, disease and their illegal trade.
On this channel, The Lion Whisperer films the majority of his footage using a GoPro camera, allowing viewers to get as close as possible to the lions, leopards and hyenas at the sanctuary.
Kevin Richardson hopes to provide viewers insight into the lives of these beautiful creatures and in turn, by watching the videos on the channel, viewers will be directly contributing to the conservation of these majestic animals.

I love how soothing and quiet this episode was. Part of me now wants an episode in which Kev goes for a walk and there's not a lot of talking and no background music. I'd love to just hear the "sounds of the bush" as Kevin puts it someday. Thank you for all that you do, Lion Whisperer team!
This video made me smile and tear up at the same time. How Vayetse puts his head in Kevin's lap shows how much he trusts him. That's pure trust from a magnificent animal. Love your videos Kevin and the work you do. ❤️❤️💜💜
shrutiraman27 We know how an animal doesn’t forget why it hates someone. I believe Vayetse remembers Mafumu’s fight with the puff adder and lost. He remembers the lions starting to eat Mafumu. He was terrified. Vayetse remembers how fast Kevin made the situation better, I bet every time he sees him. That makes me cry.😕
I swear videos of these beautiful creatures is such a tonic for me personally. The hard work involved is not lost on me but your presentations with the wonderful editing, relaxed demeanor and yes the humorous sounds, i.e. woof, woof & blowing raspberries at the cats truly gives me the warm fuzzies. 100%. They're like big kittens with Kevin. You can see the trust, but he still respects them as lions. He's so calm and steady with them all.

He is a special person for all of them, they're fully aware he's not a lion though.
I loved watching Vayetse with his enormous head in Kevin's lap!! They all look so healthy and content. Adore the raspberry blowing and sweet sounds of endearment you make to these magnificent creatures. Thank you 1000 times.

Unless you're a youngster OR New to the channel...it's VERY obvious, my dear...what you have stated. Mr. Richarsdson's video's speak volumes for themselves.
I would love to see a video of "How well does Kevin know his lions?" If they put a picture of only the face of Echo, Giny and Kussasa, would he distinguish them? What about Bongani, Icarus and Bobcat? Like this comment if you also want to see it!!!

Not just if he can distinguish them, I think he can. But HOW does he distinguish them.
Meg has her tuff on her head, neige is now the only white female lioness after ischa, Naiobi has the wink eye lol. If Ginny and livy were together I would know because livy lighter and Ginny more ginger in colour, I'm not sure about thor and Charlie group because I think we dont really see them enough,

There's something so relaxing watching lions in their natural habitat just being happy. It makes me just feel like at least one thing in this world is good and right

I always love walks with Vayetse, Livy, and Ginny. Their attitudes are hilarious, so spunky, yet when they relax, Vayetse becomes the biggest cuddle bug. What a wonderful group. Loved this video. It just made my day.

Spyinthesky 777 to an extent yes, one just has to be extremely careful as they are still “wild” animals despite how cute and beautiful they are. In the end however, as long as you know what they need and what actions mean what, i think you’ll be ok...just don’t get cocky

I startied to cry happy tears watching Vayetse, a majestic apex predator, lay his head in Kevin's lap and submit to his love and affection. My God, how beautiful a moment!
Once again Kevin an amazing and educational upload. I live in South Australia and we are lucky enough to live near the foothills so we see Koala's, Kangaroos, we were lucky enough to see an Echinda and Kookaburra drop in quite often to have a laugh at us. 🐨

They clearly love the change of scenery and wandering around. It’s interesting about the tail and surprising how you are allowed to play with the top of their tail, so few animals allow that to such a degree. Thanks for including us in your day and sharing your knowledge. From Queensland Australia
Lee McGregor I couldn’t check my dog’s tail, paws, and in his mouth like Kevin can. I thought maybe I could get medicine down easier but he probably sticks medicine in meat and throws it to the lion. The lion probably doesn’t drop it and check it for pills before he eats it!!!😫😣🦁😂😂

Hector When the hyena, Nicolas wanted to play in the water Kevin left him, and came back later. I think it was Thor, Sr during shooting a movie, wanted to walk a long time. Kevin just walked with him. He can’t make them do anything but he sure can trick them in to anything with his Lion Psychology.🦁💖🦁🦁😂😂

Kevin & your support staff. Thank you for such a lovely, calming video. I have been watching these videos for months now & I am still amazed at Kevin's acceptance by the lions, hyenas & leopards. If there is ANY way Kevin could teach that skill to others so the animals who wind up born into captivity have some closer caring than through a cage, it would be better than performing miracles. Kevin, please do not ever under estimate your skills with wild animals, what you do is just mind boggling to most of us & the world is a better place for the ability you have.

The world is in such turmoil today, with the pandemic and horrors taking place in Minnisota, and watching this has calmed me so much, sometimes I forget how relaxng these shows can be. Must make every effort to keep up on these shows. Ahhhh.
